Mt Bruce [Punurrunha] is the second highest mountain in Western Australia. It dominates the Hamersley Ranges and provides spectacular views from its peak (if you are game to do the arduous, difficult climb to the top). The Mountain changes colour during the day from reds and oranges through to pinks and violets. Snappy gums provide an interesting foreground to the majesty of the mount.
